Political Outrage is a mixed-media art workshop that invites participants to transform a blank poster board or canvas into a powerful visual statement about the political issues that matter most to them. Using paint, collage, markers, text, photographs, and found materials, guests will explore their frustrations, hopes, concerns, and passions through creative expression. Whether addressing social justice, human rights, the environment, education, healthcare, or personal experiences affected by public policy, participants will be guided through the process of turning emotion into meaningful artwork. This workshop provides a safe, respectful space for reflection, dialogue, and artistic freedom, demonstrating how art can serve as both a personal outlet and a catalyst for conversation and change. Participants are encouraged to bring any personal items they would like to incorporate into their artwork, such as photographs, newspaper clippings, letters, fabric, memorabilia, or other meaningful materials that help tell their story. Basic workshop supplies, including poster boards, canvases, paint, brushes, sponges, glue, scissors, and a variety of mixed-media materials, will be provided.
