Yellow House Gallery at The Scrap Exchange

Yellow House is a 12” x 8” x 11” gallery dedicated to presenting art on a micro scale. Born into this world as a box for distributing real estate fliers, the Yellow House became a victim of the digital age and was left discarded in the weeds behind The Scrap Exchange. Now it sits in our entryway to the right of the Artist Market entrance as a space for local artists to present their smallest of creations.

CURRENT EXHIBIT

Pink Buggy Club

by Candice O’Neal

Constructed using craft foam, toothpicks, wooden dowel, beadboard, pre-made beers and disco ball, glitter paper, printed dollars, rhinestones, a cicada molt, bee, fly, and a praying mantis

O’Neal says of her creation, “I began making these miniatures as a way to immerse myself in a new tiny world instead of the news and doom scrolling. I wanted to meet the absurdity of this moment with my own absurdity.”
