Workshop: Upcycle Jeans - Two Parts

In this 2 session workshop, we will bring an old pair of pants back to life!  Bring a pair of Jeans/Pants that don’t quite fit right, have holes or stains, and we will add fabric, hem and explore different methods of upcycling clothing in this Sewing on the Machine workshop.  Sewing on the machine basic skills required, or sew by hand!  Bring your own materials like fabric, old quilts, crocheted bits and matching thread if you have a specific design in mind (fabric and pants will not be provided!).  We will have time to troubleshoot fitting and patching and skill building on the sewing machine.  Bring your own sewing machine or rent one from the Design Center.

This is a two part series. Participants will sign up for both parts. The fee listed below covers both parts.

Saturday, February 7⋅11:00am – 1:00pm
Sunday, February 8⋅11:00am – 1:00pm

Fee: $60
