Artful Pages: Bookmaking and Mixed Media Journaling

Join artist and educator Maria Geary for a hands-on workshop that combines bookmaking, art journaling, and creative exploration. Participants will create a watercolor journal using the Japanese stab binding method before exploring a variety of mixed-media techniques to bring its pages to life.

Using acrylic paint, Inktense pencils, water-soluble crayons, and other expressive materials, you'll learn simple approaches to layering color, adding texture, and combining words and images. Along the way, we'll discuss how creative journaling can support reflection, mindfulness, and personal expression.

No artistic experience is necessary. Whether you're new to journaling or looking to refresh your creative practice, you'll leave with a handmade journal, several completed pages, and plenty of inspiration to continue creating at home.

Beginner friendly / All materials provided

Fee: $45
