Japanese Rice Bag

Sew a Japanese Rice Bag! Komebukuro are traditional pouches used to carry rice offerings to the temple during religious ceremonies. Komebukuro were hand sewn in a patchwork style using a mix of whatever fabrics were on hand, and closed with a drawstring cord. We'll make our own versions of this cute and versatile bag in a 3-hour class. This is a perfect project to use up scraps of fabric and add your own unique style.

Fee: $45
