Welcome to SmashFest, Durham's biggest and smashi-est celebration of creative reuse.
Once each year, we get together to celebrate the thrill of giving broken things a spectacular sendoff. It's one of Durham's happiest places to safely break things—and fun for all ages!

HOW: Buy tickets ($1 apiece), select some smashables, then smash them!

WHAT ARE SMASHABLES?
Smashables are once-loved items donated to the Scrap Thrift Store that we are unable to sell because they are chipped or damaged. Smashables range in size—and can be yours for one ticket or more. SmashFest now features Smash Specials as well as the infamous Smash Wall. Come and experience the awesome therapeutic release of destroying things with your friends, your family, and your community.
