Craft with Mongo at Chatham County Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources is thrilled to announce the grand opening of its brand-new Arts Center, set for Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The celebration will take place at the new Arts Center located at 964 East Street in Pittsboro, NC. Guests are invited to enjoy a ribbon cutting ceremony, hands-on arts and crafts, live demonstrations, food, and fun for the entire family. Visitors can also tour the new studio space and get a first look at upcoming arts classes designed for all ages and experience levels.

“We’re incredibly excited to open the doors to this vibrant new space,” said Tracy Burnett, Director of Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources. “The Arts Center is a place where creativity, community, and culture will come together, and we can’t wait to see it come to life with the help of our residents.”

The Arts Center is located at the back of the building at 964 East Street.
