The Design Center at The Scrap Exchange is a 400 square foot room within The Scrap Exchange that has been set up specifically for artists and crafters to use as working studio space.
Inside the Design Center you’ll find…
- sewing machines
- a serger
- an industrial sewing machine
- a die-cut machine
- a button-making machine
- t-shirt hot press
- a reference library with books on art and craft topics
(including books in languages other than English).
All supplies are labeled in both English and Spanish.
Programming in the Design Center includes…
For only $5 per person per hour you can use our Design Center to create projects. You can bring your own materials or buy materials from our store. Some equipment may require training before use. Please call the store at 919-688-6960 for more information or to schedule a time.
Teens and adults can celebrate birthdays and other life events or host community gatherings with an Art Party in the Design Center! Find out more information on our Parties page.
