What is Craftland?
Craftland is the Scrap Exchange’s annual holiday marketplace. All items for sale at Craftland are created by local artists and are made from re-purposed materials. Craftland will be open in The Artist Marketplace during The Scrap Exchange’s regular store hours from November 16th- January 12th. It will also be open for the Durham Art Walk and monthly 3rd Friday art openings. Craftland is a juried show and is curated by the Scrap Exchange staff.
What are Re-purposed Materials?
All items submitted to be sold at Craftland must be made from at least 75% re-purposed materials. Re-purposed materials include materials that have been creatively reused or that have a strong earth-friendly component. Check out just a few of the hundreds of items we have available!
